Darrel Maloney has designed and produced content for live events, theatre, film, commercials, broadcast, immersive, and experiential environments for the last 10 years in venues around the world. Projection and Video Designs for Broadway include: American Idiot, The Cher Show, On Your Feet, The Parisian Woman, Allegiance, The Illusionists, A Night with Janis Joplin, and Everyday Rapture. Other projection designs include Checkers (Drama Desk Nomination), Vineyard Theater, Found (Drama Desk Nomination), Atlantic Theater, Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus, Surf: A Beach Boys Las Vegas Spectacular, Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas, Kung Fu & Golden Child, Signature Theater, Allegiance, Old Globe Theatre, Karen O’s Stop the Virgens, St. Ann’s Wharehouse & The Sydney Opera House, Hughie, Shakespeare Theatre, DC, Masks Outrageous and Austere, Culture Project, The Submission, MCC, SCKBSTD, Virginia Stage Company, The Elephant Man, Minnesota Opera, as well as projection & lighting for Peer Gynt, KC Rep & La Jolla Playhouse. He has designed sets and/or lighting for numerous New York, European, and regional theaters including; Ron Athey's Deliverance, Institute for Contemporary Arts London, Four Scenes in a Harsh Life, Los Angeles Theatre Center, and Richard III, Hartford Stage.
